LitVybe provides event discovery, check-ins, event enquiries, live room features, DJ requests, moments, and profile tools for guests, hosts, staff, and DJs. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account data: username, email, password hash, optional profile photo, country, age group, and gender.
• Profile and role data: host, staff, and DJ profile details you choose to provide.
• App activity: likes, check-ins, event participation, room chat, voting, song requests, enquiries, and reports.
• Payments data: purchase and transaction metadata needed to run subscriptions, tips, and payouts.
• Uploads: event flyers and moment media you submit.
• Technical data: device/app identifiers, network logs, and basic diagnostics for reliability and abuse prevention.

How we use information

• Operate and secure the app, including authentication and abuse prevention.
• Enable core features including events, check-ins, live rooms, enquiries, and notifications.
• Support host and team workflows such as staff assignment and DJ request routing.
• Process subscriptions, tips, and payout-related workflows through supported payment providers.
• Moderate harmful or prohibited content and enforce platform rules.
• Measure app performance and troubleshoot incidents.

Location and check-ins

Location is used for nearby event relevance and check-in experiences. LitVybe is designed to use location while the app is in use and when you take location-based actions (for example opening app views that rely on proximity context). You can manage location permissions in device settings at any time.

Payments and payouts

Subscription purchases may be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing where required. Tips and payout workflows may be processed through Stripe-connected accounts and related provider services.

How data is stored and shared

• Data is stored with cloud infrastructure providers, including MongoDB Atlas and AWS services.
• Transactional email may be sent using our configured email provider.
• Payment processing is handled by external payment providers; LitVybe does not store full card details.
• We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

• Account and event data is retained while your account is active unless deletion is requested.
• Event enquiry conversations may be automatically removed after the event lifecycle based on app rules.
• Moment media is designed to be short-lived and may expire according to app retention rules.
• Security and audit logs may be retained for fraud prevention and legal compliance.

Your choices

• You can update profile fields from account settings.
• You can request account deletion from account settings or at litvybe.com/delete-account.html.
• You can contact support for privacy-related requests.
